Second Annual Great Southeast BalloonFest Set For August 29-September 1
EVENT DESCRIPTION:
The 2nd Annual Great Southeast BalloonFest is a three-day hot-air balloon festival at the Anderson Sports & Entertainment Center in Anderson, SC. The event runs Friday, Aug. 29-Sunday, Aug. 31. The event will welcome nearly 100 hot-air balloons, as well as the Balloon Federation of America National Championships! Come out and enjoy all that BalloonFest has to offer, including a car show, kids play area, rides, remote entertainment stages, wing and hotdog eating competitions, and a whole lot more! CONCERT TICKETS :
Tickets are on sale now at the Civic Center of Anderson Box Office, TicketMaster.com and (864) 233-2525, for RANDY OWEN concert on Aug. 29, and THE WALLFLOWERS on Aug. 30. Buy at the box office before May 30 and save $5 per ticket!
ADVANCE TICKET PRICES:
Good through Aug. 28. Beginning Friday, Aug. 29, concert ticket prices for Friday and Saturday will increase $6 each in all seating areas.
CONCERT SEATING:
All seating inside the Amphitheater is general admission on the lawn. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on for all concerts.

Take Exit 19-A onto Clemson Blvd. Travel toward Anderson, and follow the Great Southeast BalloonFest parking signs.

HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE SEATING:
The William A. Floyd Amphitheater is an handicap-accessible facility.
AMPHITHEATER & GROUNDS RESTRICTIONS:
Pets, outside food and drinks, glass containers, coolers, bicycles, roller blades, golf carts and motorized vehicles of any kind are not permitted on the BalloonFest grounds or inside the Amphitheater. Picnic baskets and outside food and drinks (no glass containers) are only permitted for “Celebrate Anderson” concert inside Amphitheater on Aug. 31. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in the parking lots. Audio and video taping inside the Amphitheater is prohibited. Other Amphitheater restrictions, as set by artist management, may also be in place. Bags and persons are subject to check. If you need more information, please call the Box Office at (864) 260-4800.
CHILDREN’S CONCERT TICKETS:
For ticketed concerts inside the Amphitheater, ages 2-under admitted free in the regular general admission lawn section. Everyone in the VIP lawn seating area must purchase a ticket.

FRIDAY, AUG. 29, 7:30 PM: Concert inside William A. Floyd Amphitheater -- RANDY OWEN and DANIELLE PECK.
SATURDAY, AUG. 30, 3:00 PM: Concert on the front lawn of the Civic Center of Anderson -- JUMP STREET BAND. Admission is free!
SATURDAY, AUG. 30, 7:30 PM: Concert inside William A. Floyd Amphitheater -- THE WALLFLOWERS, with NEEDTOBREATHE and KENNY FLOYD..
SUNDAY, AUG. 31, 8:00 PM: "Celebrate Anderson" concert inside William A. Floyd Amphitheater, featuring Greater Anderson Musical Arts Consortium (GAMAC) performing the music from STAR WARS, plus a LASER LIGHT SHOW! Admission is free. The concert will conclude with a giant fireworks display!
